What is the Tribal Internship Program?

The Tribal Internship Program is a one-time resource for Higher Education students who have been accepted and/or working in an internship program. This program is limited to juniors and seniors only.

What costs are covered by the Tribal Internship Program?

The cap amount a student can receive through the Tribal Internship is $500.00. This can be used to cover travel expenses, living expenses and other education expenses that would be documented by the college/university or internship site.

How do I utilize the Tribal Internship Program?

To be considered for assistance through the Tribal Internship Program, Tribal members must submit a completed Tribal Internship Application along with a letter from their college/university or internship site that they have been accepted into an internship program. Along with the letter a statement from the college/university or internship sites needs to state the student’s need and cost.

When is the application due?

The completed Tribal Internship application along with the letter from the college/university or internship site needs to be submitted one month before the program starts. If the program has already started the same processing time of application applies.
