Tobacco Cessation

Smoking and chewing tobacco are increasingly responsible for the growing number of cases of heart disease, cancer and stroke—the main causes of death among American Indians. Even more alarming is that commercial tobacco products kill more people in the United States than AIDS, alcohol, accidents, fires, illicit drugs, murders, and suicides.

Are you ready to quit?

Our Behavioral Health staff can assist you with that quit by providing you with resources that will help you to be tobacco-free.

Currently we are offering Freedom From Smoking® classes at both clinics.  The classes are specifically designed for those individuals serious about wanting to quit smoking.

Did you know that Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) increases your chances of staying quit by 80%? Our clinic providers can prescribe those prescriptions for NRT to help with your success of a tobacco-free lifestyle.
