From a global perspective the Cow Creek homeland lies just below the 45th parallel of the Northern hemisphere in the far western portion of the North American continent.

The homeland is just inland from the Pacific Ocean, slightly to the east of the Pacific Ocean coastline.
The total landmass of the Cow Creek homeland is significant enough so that if it were somehow colored, as shown in Map 1, then it would be noticeable from near-Earth orbit.
