The homeland is north of the state of California and south of the state of Washington, lying entirely within the state of Oregon.
The Cow Creek homeland lies in southwestern Oregon near the Pacific Ocean, but does not extend west to the actual shore land.
The Oregon cities of Eugene, Salem, and Portland are north of the homeland, about 70, 135 and 165 miles, respectively.
