Resources-stress management and Identifying Child Abuse

Cow Creek Health and Wellness Center has a Behavioral Health Department for treatment of individuals, families, and couples.

Eligibility: Tribal, Affiliated Tribal, and Nesika Insured.  Divorced parents of tribal children may be seen  if the issue is regarding their child.

Therapy may be short and problem focused. Therapy may be longer if families and/or couples are involved. Treatment is focused on the presenting issue(s) and goal(s) are set with each client as agreed upon with the client.

Psychological testing may be utilized to help clarify contributing issues. Medical interventions may be employed. Stress management may be taught along with other skills. Treatment is often 4-12 sessions

Juvenile Crime Prevention Plan

Tribal and affiliated Tribal children ages 10 -18 qualify for themselves and their families to receive intensive treatment for high risk behaviors through Behavioral Health at Cow Creek Health and Wellness Center. Assessments are completed on each child and risk factors are determined.  These become the area of focus for treatment.
