Tribal archaeologists work to protect and preserve culturally significant places and resources of the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians’. The staff consults with federal, state, and local agencies, private developers and land owners to protect cultural sites and objects of importance to the Cow Creek Tribe.
